Tuesday, September 10

Exotic Animals 6:30-7:30 PM.   Jamie Kozloski of Kingdom Animalia Exotic Animal Rescue will join us to talk about proper care of exotic animals.  Educational programs, like these help to promote proper care of exotics and awareness of neglect.  If you have an exotic pet, thinking of getting one or just love animals in general, this is the program for you!

Bears Cub Scout Clinic: Take Care of Your Planet and What’s Cooking
Learn more about how your everyday activities affect the environment and how you can make simple changes at home to help take care of your planet.  All registered scouts will be making their own snacks with an environmental twist.  Pre-registration and payment required.  Call 920-766-4733 for more information.


Tuesday, October 22

Fall Frolic 6:00-7:00PM.  In cooperation with the Kaukauna Public Library, we will be hosting a fun fall evening for families including a nature hike, craft and books.

Wolves Cub Scout Clinic: Your Living World and Fishing Electives
Experience the fun of fishing and learn some basic skills while understanding the importance of preserving our environment.  Pre-registration and payment required.  Call 920-766-4733 for more information. 


Monday, December 30

Bald Eagle Program 1:30 PM.  Join the naturalist at the Kaukauna Public Library for a presentation on the bald eagles that hang around the Fox River.  We will have hands-on activities and tell you how to see more eagles this winter.


Saturday, January 25

Eagle Days Time TBD.  Learn about the Eagles at 1000 Islands with an inside presentation and guided hike to see our wintering eagle population.


Friday, February 7

Moonlit Nature Hike 6-7:30 PM.  Enjoy the full moon while hiking the trails and enjoy some hot chocolate, cookies and crafts inside.  Snowshoes will be provided if there is adequate snow.


Saturday, March 22

Pancake and Porkie Breakfast with the Kaukauna Kiwanis 9 AM – 1 PM. 
Join us for pancakes and porkies with our homemade maple syrup and learn more about the history of the sugar bush and how maple syrup is made.  A ticket is required for the breakfast and can be purchased at the door.


Thursday, March 27

Seed Starting Workshop  6:00-7:00 PM.  Learn more about seed starting to kick start your summer garden.  Seeds and materials to get started will be provided.


Tuesday, April 22

People & the Planet 6:00 PM.  Celebrate Earth Day by learning how to be more environmentally friendly at home.   This family friendly program will include hands-on activities and a recycled craft.


Saturday, April 26

Spring Clean-Up 9 AM – 12 PM.  Wrap up your Earth Day Celebrations by helping to beautify the 1000 Islands Conservancy Zone.  Clean up litter, bark trails or help battle the invasive species.  Bring work gloves if you have them!  Lunch will be provided after the clean up.

Webelos Cub Scout Clinic: Naturalist/Outdoorsman Activity Badges  Prepare your scouts for the outdoor world by completing these two activity badges.  The clinic includes a snack as scouts practice campfire cooking.  Pre-registration and payment required.  Call 920-766-4733 for more information.
